President announces Higher Learning Commission Committee

During St. Catherine University's Opening Convocation in September 2010, President Andrea J. Lee, IHM, announced the team that would be preparing for the winter 2013 site visit and creating the self-study report in advance of it.

Under Senior Vice-President Colleen Hegranes's direction, the steering committee is chaired by Alan Silva, assistant vice president and dean of the School of Humanities, Arts, and Sciences(SHAS) and College for Women.

The committee includes:

• Tone Blechert, associate dean of health professions and two-year programs
• Paul Buttenhoff, associate professor, liberal arts and sciences
• Curt Galloway, dean of student affairs
  
• Tracey Gran, controller
  
• Deborah Grealey, associate dean and program director, master of library and information science
  
• MaryAnn Janosik, dean of the School of Professional Studies and Graduate College
  
• Carol Johnson, director of libraries
• Julie Michener, media & public relations manager
  
• Sr. Amata Miller, professor of economics and director of the Myser Initiative on Catholic Identity
• Debra Sellheim, associate professor, doctor of physical therapy
