Alan Silva, Assistant vice-president, dean of the School of Humanities, Arts, and Sciences and College for Women and HLC Steering Committee Chair, announced a preliminary schedule for the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) Site Visit Team, Feb. 25-27.
Saturday, February 23
Michael Westerfield, Team Chair, arrives in Twin Cities.
Sunday, February 24
Remainder of the Site Visit Team arrive in Twin Cities.
Monday, February 25
8 a.m. The HLC Site Visit Team will be welcomed to campus by
the University’s HLC Steering Committee. A meeting with President Andrea Lee, IHM, follows.
For the remainder of Monday, the HLC Site Visit Team will meet with individuals and groups on the St. Paul campus, including deans, members of the President’s Cabinet, University Council and CHADS.

Tuesday, February 26
8 a.m. – 11 a.m. The HLC Site Visit Team will tour the Minneapolis
campus and meet with a cross-section of faculty, committees and other specific
offices for data review.
Later that morning the team will meet with the University’s Board of Trustees Executive Committee, and then return to the St. Paul campus for a tour and meet with student groups and the assessment committee. A reception with the board of trustees will end the day.

Wednesday, February 27
In the early morning, the HLC Site Visit Team will begin
wrapping up with some additional meetings possible. The exit interview with President Andrea Lee, IHM will
conclude at 11:30 a.m. and the team will depart for the Minneapolis-St. Paul
International Airport.
